Bio

It is often said that Lisa has the ability to “talk to almost anyone about almost anything.” This quality has successfully enabled Lisa to relate to diverse audiences during her 19-year career as a radio personality. She’s brought her energetic personality and intangible ability to connect with audiences in the Top 40, Modern Rock, Adult Contemporary, and Oldies radio formats across the country.

Achievements of which Lisa is most proud include:

*Winning the 1999 Achievement in Radio (A.I.R.) Award for Best Evening Program at WPNT/Milwaukee

*Finalist for 2002 Chicago A.I.R. Award for Best Evening Show, WJMK’s “Saturday Night Dance Party

*Finalist for 1999 Billboard Magazine Best Secondary Market Music Director, WMXB/Richmond, VA

*Instituting changes, as WMXB’s Assistant Program Director, that brought the station from 10th to 4th place among Persons 18-34 within one 3-month ratings period.

Lisa’s much-loved “Saturday Night Dance Party” on WJMK/Chicago peaked at a 5.2 among Persons 25-54, raising the ratings in Summer, 2002, to the highest in years in that time slot.

Lisa signed on at WJMK for the “SNDP” in 2001, when it was a heritage Oldies station. She remained a “104.3 Jack-FM” producer when the station flipped formats in 2005, until early 2008. She performed as a frequent weekend/fill-in air personality at “100.3 Love-FM” for nearly two years, starting in June 2006.

In February, 2008, Lisa achieved one of her dream jobs, becoming the Midday personality at “The New Fresh 105.9” in Chicago.

Over the years, Lisa has been heard either jocking or reporting news or traffic all over Chicagoland radio, including:

Afternoon Drive traffic with Seaver on WLUP (97.9 The Loop)

*Afternoon News reporter with Deborah Rowe on WYLL (AM 1160)

*Frequent reporter/contributer on WGN-AM 720 with Steve Cochran, and on WBBM-AM Newsradio 780

*Morning Drive reporter on WZSR (Star 105.5/Crystal Lake) and on WRXQ (100.7/Joliet) with longtime pal Rob Creighton for nearly 2 years…

… as well as on WDRV (97.1 The Drive); WTMX (101.9 The Mix); WUBT (103.5 The Beat); WXLC (”Hot 102.3″!); and on WKRS-AM//Waukegan) with Jim Moran.

Oh, and she also won $50 in a karaoke contest a while back, volunteers with JUF, and occasionally gets to play freaky characters, like the 90-year-old (and dead) Grandma Tzeitel in “Fiddler on the Roof,” and tap dance in other shows. :)
